Analysis (whoo, scientific): The hair is gathered at the crown of the head. At least four, possibly five, sections are looped around into petal-like shapes, while the rest of the hair falls through the middle of them.

Directions: Gather your hair into a high ponytail in the middle of your head. Separate out four or five sections, leaving 1/3 of your hair left loose. Fold the four sections over, or coil them around if your hair is long, pinning it over and tucking the ends underneath. These will be your "petals". The rest of the hair that you left loose should emerge from the middle of them, where the original ponytail was. Arrange the petals around the center until they look how you want. That's it!
