Analysis (whoo, scientific): It's Star Wars, and it's hair. Don't mock me. Qui-Gon's signature style is a simple half-ponytail set middle-to-high on the head. It's wrapped for about 2 inches with some kind of leather (or leather-looking) tie.

Directions: Pull your hair into a half ponytail. Tie the end of the lacing around the hair, leaving an inch of lacing hanging from the knot. Wrap the other end tightly around the hair for a couple inches, then wrap back up until you reach the point you started. Tie your end to the inch-long end you left at the beginning, and trim the ends or weave them into the hair. That's it!
